Today’s News
Another slightly rolly 24 hrs of motorsailing with freshening trade winds coming from astern encouraged us this morning to boom out the jib, so now sailing wing & wing with no engine running ! !
Peace and quite with an easy motion, still making 10.5knts of boat speed – Penny our chef is very happy without the galley sliding side to side ! !
At dusk last night we had a visit of 8 playful dolphins, all enjoying our large bow wave rising out of the water and twisting mid air before splashing back in to the wave. This made quite a picture as we made our way into the setting sun – always a joy to share the ocean with them – no green flash at sunset ! !
The dawn found us with a brilliant rainbow ahead and two brown boobies ( a seabird found in this area) feeding in our wake – All’s well,
Terry…….
