Sunday 24th February
We are still in the Caribbean and have moved today (Sunday 24th Feb) from
Antigua across to St Maarten. The wind was light so we motor sailed, making
about 12 – 13 knots all the way. Clear hot sunny day, typical Caribbean. We
caught four tuna in the late afternoon just when we were getting worried
that we would not catch anything for the trip.
We will be around the St Maarten/ St Barths area for the next 3 weeks then
back to Antigua at the end of March. We are planning to do the St Barths
Bucket, a fun regatta for mega yachts which takes place on the 6th and 7th
April. Once that is over we will think about heading for the Mediterranean,
leaving in mid April.
When we leave the West Indies and we are on passage we will again start the
daily logs. This will be the last bulletin until then as we normally do not
have Internet access while in the Caribbean.
